please help,, i just bought my hp notebook.it is used. i installed all the updates and added msn messenger.when i had the comp to my likings i shut down went to sleep and when turned it on it only booted to the blue screen that says "hp" on this screen i have to use task manager to access the net, sometimes that does'nt even work....i even used my factory system recovery cds. i start the process all over and then wam-o.same probs..a few times ill get a nt/adminstrator warning telling me the comp is shutting down in 1 minute. i have to close everything because it shuts down......what do i do? please help....

If there's nothing you want to save, then I would do a fresh install. Boot from a genunine W2k cd. Good luck.
