My DELL crashed last week and I'm not able to get it up and running again because of this stop message: *** STOP: 0x0000007B (0x82070030, 0xC0000032, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) INACCESIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE I'm unable to run CHKDSK /F like it's telling me to. Is this a virus? Windows appears to boot properly but then it hangs up when I get to the final (white) boot screen (with the loading bar at the bottom), Windows hangs up and presents me with the blue screen with this error message. The Power supply, and motherboard have been replaced. I've tried booting up in Safe-Mode and every configuration on the Safe-Mode screen--and I still get the blue screen. Is there any way to access the hard-drive and fix what's wrong with the boot-up? Thanks for any replies Iggy...

It sounds like the hard drive died on you or the cable is bad.
Try changing the cable first. If that doesn't fix it then remove the hard drive and
slave it to another PC.
If it shows up in My Computer and you can navigate around in it, then Windows is
causing the blue screen. Transfer any files you need to a DVD/CDs or an external
hard drive while the hard drive is slaved to the second PC.
Now reinstall the hard drive back into your Dell and use the system restore disks
that Dell supplied with the PC.
Once it's done the restore, you can copy the files back on the Dell.
You can also use memtest (Google search, download, burn to CD, and boot to the CD)
to test the memory before you attempt the above.
If none of this works, then it's time to buy a new hard drive.

Good luck!

Thanks man. I did all that and got most of my stuff off. I couldn't find the CD to re-install Windows (previous employee lost it). I still had all my Outlook files on there--(couldn't locate them)--so I just said "F" it and sent it off to our computer people to recover my info and send me a new computer. I thought I'd fix it myself but there are some things best left to the professionals. :) Thanks a lot!!
