Uninstalling microsoft keyboard software

The function keys won't work on a new kensington keyboard, according to their tech support it's because the microsoft keyboard software has not been uninstalled. I tried to remove it with "Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs" but it keeps installing. How can I get rid of it so the kensington software will properly install? Mike

I was able to remove the microsoft keyboard software and install the kensington software but I'm still not getting any function key input. I had the same problem with a logitech keyboard. Looks like this system will only work with a mocrosoft keyboard?
