My pc will not recognize my display adapter and will only let me use the VGA save default setting....my card is compatible and I have the disc with the driver bundle..but everytime I try to load the driver for my card ...I get a prompt telling me the driver I am trying to install is not compatible with the display adapter I have on my pc. I have the same motherboard and card working fine on another pc.

You're leaving way too much out of this too-brief rundown; what adapter was in use previously? Was it an onboard chip? What card are you trying to install in what brand of system? What have you done about the drivers that were previously installed?
