On login, my ancient 2000 pro machine has started giving me the following: Internal Error ABORT: Could not initialize extension dll (0x00000000) (0) (snmp.c/599) OK? Well no, it's not OK but I'm not sure what to do about it or even how to interpret it. So far it does not seem to effect anything. The only software I have recently installed has been the automatic updates. Suggestions please?

Sometimes when you install software it will take out some DLL files, because they out of date, etc. Go into the log files and find the dll file that was remove and put it back into place or run it down to find out what program it was used for , if you don't need the program remove it. Uninstall it..

Are you by any chance running Netstat Live, or other programs by AnalogX that is
set to run on startup? (check if the folder C:\Program Files\AnalogX exits).

I just installed Netstat Live and had the same problem (googling the error message
lead me here), but it was fixed by removing the file inetmib1.dll in the folder C:\Program
Files\AnalogX\NetStat Live.

My suggestion:
1) Go to the folder C:\Program Files\AnalogX. If it doesn't exist - steps 2-3 won't
work...
2) Go to "NetStat Live" or any other sub-folder there
3) Try to run the main program in that folder. If it gives the same error as above:
rename the file inetmib1.dll this folder to inetmib1.dll.bak and try running the
program again.
