Windows 2000 Server

I need to upgrade to Symantec Enterprise End Point Virus Protection. When I attempt
to load the new software it is giving me a error message "internet info needs to
be installed for this installation to continue". From further reading I find that
what is required is to load IIS Admin and WWW Publishing (W3SVC) to the system. I
have (what I believe is correct) added the snap-in's and extensions from the Win
2000 Server disc. I have downloaded the most recent roll-up's so it is current.
Now when I attempt to load the "end point" software I get the message that IASAP
Extension and W3SVR needs to be installed. The event log is saying that the software
needs to installed. This is weird as there are no errors when I load the additional
software from the server disc.
Can someone walk me through this? Thanks for your anticipated help.

Can no one help on this matter? It definately must be something that I have missed
as IIS is showing up that it was never loaded. A permission problem perhaps? Any
help would certainly be appreciated. Thanks
