p/up same cache on IE6 when using FireFox

altho I have closed IE (I use NetZero so I gotta do it this way). how come? I have
FireFox delete my cache as soon as I close it but still on IE? also anyway to set
up IE6 to have cache deleted like that when you close it?? thanksRobert

Not that I know about but you can use 3rd party software that will remove your tracks..
Here's a place to look for some free software that will do the job.

You may want to look at Spider software, it will tell you all about index.dat file
that tracks all the stops you make on the net..a real tell all file that MS put in
as a default item. (tracking file)
Nasty little file that many use to see what you are doing on the NET.. :(
You have many on the HD, and it's one of the items that windows makes a new one if
you remove it from the HD on reboot.. NASTY File..

In IE, try Internet Options, Advanced tab. Scroll down to the Security section &
select the option "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed"

Just a note*** you can still find the free ver. of Spider, it will take a bit of
work on google but it's free and it works just as well in removing the index file
plus others tracking files...

Thanks for your quick answers I appreciate it.I had my "empty cache when IE closes"
checked off..but it doesnt work cache still in. and Dex on that "Spider" thing i
downloaded it looks like small old program and all it said was "error"..but I shall
use my Ccleaner I guess..thanks again..Robert
