SORRY if already sent! Just reloaded W2k and Via drivers for motherboard, loaded
SP3 and 4, then Zonealrm and AVG and then scanned and all stored on CD ready. Then
downloaded IE6 Sp1. First noticed (on flat screen0 large icons. In display--properties--Settings
slider will now only run up to 800x600. In advanced-- monitor 1024x768 is seen, can
be highlit but the apply button is inactive. Reloaded drivers to check. No change.
After about 10 minutes mouse activity produces 5mm white trails on15mm wide outer
tracks which stay painted on the screen. Then icons are white sitting in black frames.
Nothing on virus scans, a few tracker cookies on Super antispy
There were no display problem pre-reload. never seee anything like it!
Any ideas please?

You may have to update your drivers for your video card. There is usually a newer
driver available for most video cards. You will have to search online.
