upon startup I get a toolbar and desktop and then will get a bunch of error messages
that all have .exe errors, then my toolbar and desktop blink off to a blank screen.
I've run a virus and spyware scan and nothing is working! Can anyone help me?

It sounds like you will need to run the repair items on the win2k cd,, just boot
up with it in the rom drive and select the repair item(s)

I've had that after a virus just recently, and I think i actually ran out of hard
disk space to support the desktop and the copies of the defective files. I have
a teeny 20 gig HD and had to open Win2K in Debug mode, then deleted a lot of unneeded
stuff.
When i started windows again it went through debugging again and finished repairing.
Do you have enough room to support the repairs you're doing?
