Hi, I am trying to recover driver for a Jetway 630cn mobo. All are working except
the multimedia audio controller. I have downloaded the drivers from Jetway site and
still no joy. AS far as I know I am using AC'97 audio files??? I am running windows
2000 pro, sp4. P3 celeron, 733mhz. chipset sis630.
Any help greatly appreciated.

It has probably failed. I worked on a few and those motherboards were the cheapest
I have ever seen as well as the video cards. None of them would work for long. Your
best bet is to install an add-on sound card if it has an open slot on the motherboard.
Windows can't tell if a device is really working or not, even though it may say
it is. Make sure it is enabled in the BIOS.
