Question about 'Get Rid of the My Computer Icon'

I have a question about Get Rid of the My Computer Icon:

The second Note : Windows doesn't come with a blank icon. Sorry to contradict, but there is one in Explorer Icons. There should be 8 icons in the list : the second one is the blank; it's not just a space. As far as I'm aware it's been there through several Windows versions. Rgds

Hello, I just checked the icons in EXPLORER.EXE in Windows 2000, and there doesn't appear to be any blank ones. #8 is the information icon. Is that what you meant?

Sorry, it's way before Win 2000. (I'm running a dual-boot system) and I picked up
the blank icon as #2 from the Explorer.exe in Win 98SE. You are quite right : in
Win2kP the end space is just that.
  Sorry for the confusion.

Update : look in WINDOWS\system32\NTBACKUP.EXE
The 13th icon in that file is a blank. I'm fairly sure this is a Win2k file.
