unable to kill process from taskmanger even on using kill.exe

I have a few exes running under a different user account. Found multiple instances of the exe running in that useraccont. Tried to kill them with taskkill command. It shows SUCCESS but the processes still remain in the task manager. Rebooted the server to kill the process. Need help???
