Can't view some server files

I'm suddenly unable to access a specific folder on my file server which is mapped to a mapped drive on all workstations. I can see the other mapped drives and can access the files they contain, but one mapped drive shows as being empty (when I know it's not). The access permissions are correct and I can copy the files on the server, so I know they're still OK, but the workstations can't see them. Can anyone give me some pointers on where to look further? Thanks
