Hi, Please could you help with a suggestion for the below migration to Windows 2003; An existing Win2k Server (DC) on its last legs to be replaced with a new server, installed with Windows 2003. My theory; Setup the new server as the new DC, install as a DC (same domain name as old server), DNS and DHCP. Migrate User’s, Groups and Computers to the new server using ADMT from the old server. Question 1: Will this work duplicating the same domain and migrating details from the old server with the same domain name to the new server, or is there another method or another suggestion that I could use? The old server I planned to DCPROMO and use it as a legacy mail server. Thanks
