I had an 80 GB normal HDD (Seagate), i wanted to make it USB based mobile HDD so that i dont need to put it in the PC time and again. I purchased a USB 2 converter box and converted my HDD to USB based Mobile HDD. It is working fine with Windows XP and Windows 2000 but when i plug it in my server who have Windows 2003 Server Enterprise edition, it detects it, installs necessary drivers from its driver database but it does not show the HDD in the explorer. I checked in the Computer Management Console-->Storage area, it is shown there but its not available in the explorer. Can anyone tell me whats the problem and if the OS is restricting it, how should i enable it.

Learning makes a man worth!
