Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 9:18 pm Windows Server 2003 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by jazzman (4141 messages posted) lol..I know what you mean...I got the Degree in I.T. also and am getting the B.S. online..I got lucky actually, the place i worked for hired me on my degree and put me on a very rigorous cert schedule...I have about 23 cets total, ( minus the ones I have now) to take in the first 18 months, and i get a raise after each set, so by the end of next year I will be making around 65K/year...kind of cheap, but for the central valley of California it isn't that bad...the bonus is that I can put in a couple years here and then if more money doesn't happen I can move to a more "higher Tech" area and get the 100K +, if you know what I mean...But, money isn't the most important thing to me, I have to like where I work and I love the place I'm at now and if things stay the way they are, i'll hang around here for a long time, they treat their employees like family, and that is RARE nowdays... jazz is a state of mind...
