To be honest, I don't know if you can shut down the popup. I'd just come in a few minutes early and reboot the server before starting the day. Or, in the case of updating during the day, I'd stay late a few minutes and do it after work.

Of couse, if it were me, I'd have automatic updates shut off and I'd do them manually as well.....but that's just me.....each to their own.
