trouble in software deployment

help a windows 2003 user
i want to deploy software throgh group policy. i create a ou and assign a sofware
(msi file) on it.when i log in to another system through that ou , the software simply
does not deploy. neighter it appear in program menu nor in Add/remove Programs.
help me
