I'm in agreement.  The idea of using a Server OS in a non-server environment doesn't 
make much sence.

Windows 2000 Requirements
* 350 MHz or higher Pentium-compatible CPU. 
*96 to 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM recommended minimum; more memory generally improves 
responsiveness.
*4GB hard disk with a minimum of 1GB of free space. 

Windows XP Requirements
*233 MHz CPU 
*64 MB of RAM (may limit performance and some features) 
*1.5 GB of available hard disk space *
