Se, those are normal. I would try the following things:
1. Start the computer normally, as soon as you get to the desktop, open task manager
and take note of all the processes running. If any processes have unknown names,
research the process names on google to determine if they are valid processes or
viral/trojan related.
2. Check Device manager for any Hardware I/O conflicts. Use the Event viewer and
check the Application and system Entries for any errors. Write down the Event Id
and error message of every one found that has a Warning or Critical designation.
3. Open the case and thoroughly blow out any dust and dirt, paying special attention
to the CPU fan and heatsink.
4. How long has this been happening? If you have a definate time frame as to when
this began, you may be able to simply use the System Restore feature to restore your
computer back to a time before this behavior started.
5. Download and run Hijackthis: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html
Use the "Scan and save a log" option and post the log if none of the above work.
