yes I had to build an xp clone with no windows network components installed and the only way to do it was the following: [Networking] InstallDefaultComponents = no [Netservices] [NetClients] [Identification] i.e. say to sysprep that you are not going to install the default components, then specify the "Netservices" "NetClients" etc but leave the values blank
