And they probably say that just to discourage people from downloading their products. While there are malicious files and the occassional unintentional virus passed on, it goes against the reputation of these "pirate groups" to release products with trojans in them. i.e. you're really at no more risk than installing a Microsoft product with it's inherent security flaws than the risk of downloading cracked products. In both cases, you have to be vigilant.
