no known scheduled tasks......antivirus updated.....scan comes back clean......also did two online scans which came up clean also. No previous crashes or issues except the mentioned one. The problem's symptoms are temporarily fixed until the next afternoon just by rebooting client. Bandwidth doesnt appear to be the problem.....is it possible there is a setting for security that could be related to this? Or mayby dns? I have all the accounts created under active directory with appropriate permissions.......the router dhcp is setup with long term ip address assignments.
