The system comes with 2 features i like to keep, media direct and custom version of norton ghost. To use this features the system use a custom mbr code ( as far as i know ). This code is lost if some OS overwrites the MBR.

Installing distros of linux means no problem. I just tell the installer to put the boot loader in other place than the mbr. But windows always try to install the boot loader in the MBR.

I want to install Server 2003 using the Windows XP boot loader and without modifiying the MBR.
