Hi. Best recommended safe practice especially as the machine in question is a SERVER would be to create another server account with full system administrator rights and use this for testing and/or setting up clients. As millions before him have discovered this is sound advice. To protect your system from brute force attacks I would recommend you enforce a strong password policy on all accounts.
