It sounds like intermittent network connectivity.. But, I really don't have a clue 
as to your problem.  

Is the problem common to the computer or to the profile?  For instance, does any 
profile loaded on the same PC give problems?  Or does the same profile loaded on 
any PC give problems?

Have you verified that there isn't a common point of failure like a malfunctioning 
network switch or something that they all share?

When windows fails to obtain the profile from where it is supposed to be located, 
it will recreate a new one.. So, I assume it is all associated with some kind of 
loss of network connectivity.
