Win2003 server/winXP Pro cant map drive

we have a win 2003 server sp1 that has a file share on it. All but two of my users
can connect to it without issues. One of the users in question is local so I have
spent alot of time with him on this. He can remote desktop login to the server with
full access, but he cannot map to a share on the server. The Windows Explorer acts
like its trying to map the drive, but continually asks for the password until he
is locked out. We can ping and trace rt to the server fine.

I can map the drive from my xp pro pc with his username / pwd just fine.

I have searced this forum and found lots of similar postings, but none of those answers
seem to work for us.

so it seems like there is a setting on his pc or on the server for his pc that is
blocking the connection?

Any replies would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott
