Certainly you can use server 2003 to set up a domain in your home.. If you want the domain name accessible from the internet then you need to talk to a domain registrar and you need a static IP address. People spend hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars to learn how to do this stuff. You're not going to get any answers about how to setup and configure all the intricacies of a windows domain on this forum. You should be looking for on-line articles, or buy a book on the subject. From your post I'm not sure you know the difference between a Domain Name Server, and a Domain Controller, or their functions.
