Just a hunch, but do you have a policy in place that does not allow users to login
between certain hours of the day? IN the user accounts you can set permissions like
this that prevent logons during certain hours. ANd I imagine group policies can
also set things like this. It seems that this would prevent it from working at all
during these hours, but just maybe its your problem.
When you try to execute the NET USE command manually (the same one that is used in
your login script), what kind of error do you get?
If you don't get enough information, a packet sniffer on the PC may help you to get
more in depth information about what is really taking place when you try to connect
and it doesn't work.
