Theres nothing extra to do. Computer and User policies can be applied within the same GPO. But, remember, that changes made to GPOs, especially in the computer section, will often take at least 2 reboots, or several minutes before the policy takes effect. Welcome to the wonderful world of group policy. Other than that, you are probably just having a problem with "unexpected" results, from a specific policy you are applying. Maybe, you can be more specific about which policy you are applying to the computer section, and what the effect on the PC is?
