Thanks for asking. I have not found the problem yet. It is still there, persistent
and regular. I installed WireShark as appleoddity suggested. WireShark is a very
good network monitor that can capture all the network traffic or can filter down
to any particular host, client, or protocol. My problem is not knowing how to interpret
what I'm seeing, or being able to identify something that is out of the ordinary.
Some exchanges make me think the problem may be related to a time skew problem or
a kerberos problem, but I don't have enough info to support any theory. I will look
at policy refresh next. Thanks.
