Roaming userprofiles in a language-mixed environment

While trying to set up roaming profiles I encountered the following issue:

Situation
---------

1x Windows Server 2003 ENGLISH
2x Windows XP Professional GERMAN

When loggin on to the Server, the user folders point to the paths specified in the
RegKey "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders",
for instance: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data

I suppose that during the logoff process this RegKey information is stored in the
ntuser.dat. Hence this information is also retrieved when loggin on to one of the
client computers which then also point to the paths specified in the User Shell Folders
RegKey.

When I logoff the Client the roaming profile gets synchronized to the GERMAN user
folders, for instance C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\User\Anwendungsdaten.
The english user folders do not synchronize with the server profile.

I want to be able to use the server profile on both language version of Windows.
Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated.
