Standby/back up domain contoller server 2003

Can anyone help??
I have just migrated my current network from NT4 to server 2003 and AD which is all
work 100%. I now have just one dell server controlling the whole network (50 workstations).
I have just brought another Dell server (the same as the first) and wish to set this
up as a “warm” identical backup for the first server. Thus if the first goes down
it will kick in and take over.
In the days off NT4 this would have been a BDC, I understand that in server 2003
all DC are treated as equal and thus I can not work out which direction to go to
solve having an identical standby server.
Does anyone have any ideas??

Also read the notes!

When you run DCPROMO select "new domain controller for an existing domain" or something
like that
The original will still retain the DNS, WINS etc., but the new DC will process logins
as well
Both DCs are equal and logons are processed by the system that answers first
Don’t worry conflicting accounts, user account changes replicate very quickly (almost
install actually)
I've tried to create conflicting accounts before, and never could do it
