I have used TuneUp Utilities to optimize my Windows 2003 Server System's Internet Connection Settings and to speed the system a littel bit up. Since that the system isn't starting up anymore. It fails on Startup screen and hangs for ages. I think the change of MTU in the TCP stack has caused this but i am not sure. Has anyone else encounterd problems like that before? Has anyone else encountred Problems with Widnows 2003 and changed MTU settings? Thanks anyway, AleXxXx

Changing the MTU shouldn't affect the way startup occurs, more likely it is the program you used. Boot to safe mode and uninstall it.

jazz is a state of mind... MCP Windows XP.
