Blacked out Login fields

When logging into my Server 2003 system both the User Name and Password fields are Blacked out. The text is black and the background is black. When I highlight the Username field I can see the text but I don't want this to happen for all of my RDP users. This all started after the primary drive went down to 0MB of space. I appreciate any help you can give.

Primary drive at 0MB free space?? Have you tried freeing up some space on the C Drive? Moving the swap file?

I've cleaned up the drive and I'm at 1.36GB and the OS is running smooth except for this login issue. The three fields and the Window title are all black: User Name Password Log on to: I thought it must be something in the registry... I didn't do anything with the swap file. What are your suggestions...

Can you provide a screenshot by any chance so we can actually see what you are describing? The color schemes in the computer's default profile may have been set to black for every scheme element Check the following registry key: HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Colors If this is the issue all colors scheme element registry values will be set to 0. Check the values for: InactiveTitle InactiveTitleText TitleText GradientActiveTitle GradientInactiveTitle GrayText HilightText WindowText If they show 0's you can export the registry key from a known good machine into a .REG file. Import the .REG file into the new machine.

Jazzman, you are THE man! Thank you! That worked perfectly. I imported the reg file from our other server and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much... your time and effort is greatly appreciated. Ron
