Hello all: I am considering using Postini, an email antivirus, spam blocking online
service to filter our company email before it gets to our email server.
Has anybody had any success with this service?

We currently use Postini for about 150 user environment. I think it has had a significant
impact on the number of viruses. But for sure it has had a dramatic impact on spam
with virtually no false positives. The only time I see false positives are for advertisements
from vendors primarily bulk emails. We have had virtually no viruses since using
Postini some of this could be credited to better Anti-virus software but primarily
I think the credit should go to Postini.
You may also want to look at a product called MX Logic that does that same as postini
but doesn't require an annual contract and may be cheaper.
