Moving $NtServicePackUninstall$

I don't know about you, but I find the way MS dumps all these uninstall directories
at the top of their OS base directory extremely annoying.
Has anyone had any experiences with attempting to move it?
I haven't found anything on the net, or here, so I am beginning to guess that I
might be alone. I am assuming that the only way to move this directory is a reghack,
but if someone out there had done it before and had advice, I am keen to hear it.
TIA
Nemir

You can safely move these files to any location you wish just using a cut and paste,
however, remember where you put them in case you need to uninstall a patch, and also,
I do not know of an easy way to change the default location Windows saves them to
reliably. myself, i just move them to a different drive periodically...
jazz is a state of mind...

You can delete them without any problem but you won't be able to uninstall if there
was ever a need.
On all of my users machines at work I always delete them. I leave them on my machine
and all of my servers though. (Just in case)
