Hi all.........I searched the forum for this already but didnt see anything related
to my problem. so here it is.
domain is running fine so far with one important exception. I had to disable windows
firewall to allow my domain users access to shared files. If I enable the firewall
all users connections to the server die instantly. I have file and print enabled
in the firewall what else am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Well, I haven't played with the Windows firewall much but it sounds like you have
everything shut off on the LAN side of the firewall. You'll want that open so LAN
clients can connect. LAN side = open WAN side = closed down

Hi, You should need not have the Windows firewall installed on the server! The server
"is" the firewall and is designed to handle all network activity using its own software.
What version are you running, have you set everything up in ISA Server Management?
