can windows server 2003 be upgraded to windows xp? IMy maching was used for as a server but not any more. can I change the os to xp or vista using just an windows upgrade? need hepl.

repartition the HD using the Xp or Vista cd and install, also depends if you want to keep your files

Hi, Changing from Win2k3 to XP while keeping your installations as it is, is not possible. You have to either reformat the HDD or better make a dual bootable partition. Frankly speaking there is no harm in using win2k3 as a desktop OS. It is is much more stable than XP.
