I have a hp proliant ml350 server running windows server 2003 server. I have configured roaming profiles on the server and use windows xp computers to logon to the server. The problem im having is no matter what size the profile is or how many people log on it takes exactly 1min 50sec to logon, does anybody know if i can shorten this time as i dont think this is normal. thanks

Hmm... You said its always 1min and 50sec "regardless of profile size." So, this may not be the issue. But here is some reading about redirecting the folders that house large amounts of data, to eliminate long log-in and log-out times. http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Profile-Folder-Redirection-Windows-Server-2003.html What does windows say it is doing, while you are waiting to login? DNS issues can also cause this. Your computers should all be pointing to the AD integrated DNS servers, and not accidentally to a gateway DNS server or external DNS server.
