servers get inaccessible

Recently we notice don few winodws 2003 server (iis 6.0/asp/adp.net application .net
2.0, 3.0)with different h/w make and softwares/services but in dame DataCenter getting
inaccessible to internet suddenly.
The common symptom found was that 3306 was opne all worl whihc has been disalloed
in windows firewallcommon tthing 2 is : windows firewall is enabled for selective
ports whereas on other wink2k3 machines we use ipsec and are working fine
when server becomes inaccessible at that time at the console if we run ipconfg it
shows nthing and cant ping to outer world
any help in roubleshooting will be greatly appreciated
pretty confused
servers are patched for all MS critical patches and sp2 is applied as well
it is some bug of OS or connectivity issue?
