No Operating System

Hello all,
I'm having problems with 2003. When I boot up I'm getting a 'missing operating system'
message. I know that it is there because I can see it on a drive letter if I look
at it through WinXP. This is a clone of a working copy from my 'C' drive.
The C drive went bad so I took it out and I'm using this disk instead. I can boot
the WinXP system but not 2003.
I'm in trouble because I have a bunch of web sites I created with FrontPage and I
need them back.
I've tried the repair console, fixboot and fixmbr but nothing has helped.
Your help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Regards

The disc is missing the bootloader. You may have an OS on the drive, but without
the bootloader, it will never start.
If you have data on the drive you need. turn the drive into a slave drive and attach
it to a working system. You can then copy the data to the working system.
