Can u well rounded people tell me how to insert a link in my messages? Word or WordPerfect have a button to insert a link in an article call it text if you want. I don't see it on either Internet Explorer or Firefox, or is it there where I don't know yet the location? Please, show me how. I shall appreciate. How can I insert a link like: http://www.amd.com for example where you the reader can click and be taken to the amd website? Thanks in advance.

Remove the space after the first < and right before the 'a'

No, you didn't, it wouldn't accpet it right. See here:

http://htmlguide.drgrog.com/alpha/cheatindex.html

And look under "Linking Tags". Be aware that not all sites use HTML to insert links.
