Server Network Problem

we have a domain type of network running under 2003 server. Now DHCP server is configured and clients pick their IPS from the domain controller(DHCP server). The problem now is, at times, when a client tries to browse/access the Domain controller a dialog box pops up with a user name and password fields. When you enter the fields with your domain account the server then opens and access is granted. Please is the anyway one can get access to the domain server without entering user name and password before any shared folder gets opened? Thank you, Gurus. Ben

Please review your event logs on one of the client PCs with event viewer. Report back here any persistent errors or warnings.
