Did you consider the Toshiba web page? It's always best to go to the manufacturer's
web site.

Yes, Toshiba is probably the worst laptop you could possibly own for trying to "upgrade"
from Vista to XP, or the like.
My experience is that it is extremely difficult, but not impossible to get all the
drivers you need. Although Dell is not my favorite PC manufactuter, only them and
Acer are the ones I have found who support their current products with XP drivers.
First of all, for the High definition audio, you will need to download the Microsoft
Universal Audio Architecture driver.
http://search.hp.com/query.html?cc=us&lang=en&qt=universal+audio&la=en
The above link is to an HP website search. I always get it from them, because Microsoft
seems to make it difficult to find on their website. There are like 3 different versions
available. If I remember correctly, you should use the 1.00A version. But, you
may have to try the 1.00C version, or whatever else version is available. :) Once
that is installed, reboot your computer, and your audio/modem drivers will both be
able to be installed using windows updates (custom) search. The drivers will show
up under hardware.
For the mass storage controller you probably need the SATA drivers. This should
be downloaded from Intel's website. The secret is to first download one of their
two versions of chipset identification software. (Only one version will be able to
identify your chipset) Then, once all the chipsets are identified, you can use that
to get drivers direct from intel for that chipset. The chipset drivers are downloaded
seperate from the SATA/RAID controller drivers. But, they should be located in the
same area.
I did some searching for you and found this:
http://v8-240z.com/toshiba/A135-S7403/
This site is un-verified, but supposedly contains all the XP drivers for your laptop.
It also has a download for the UAA. My humble suggestion is to follow my previous
instructions and use the above link as a last resort.
Good luck.. It is difficult, but not impossible to do what you are trying to do.
I also just realized that you wanted 2003 drivers, so, the above link may not work
at all for you, but my other instructions probably will as long as intel provides
2003 drivers.
