I am installing windows server 2003 on my desktop, but during installation I am getting error "driver.cab can not be copied" I have skipped copying of this file and going ahead with installation. What will happen ? what does this driver.cab do ? will I get errors during running os win server 2003 ? Is this critical error ? how can I make sure to install this driver.cab ? can I do it later

driver.cab is likely a critical file containing generic drivers for several common pieces of hardware. If this is a fresh install on a clean hard drive then your error means only one of two things: You have a bad cd-rom, or you have a bad CD. Either way you should find the source of the problem and correct it. Ignoring any errors during the installation of an OS is only asking for trouble later.
