Network Adapter Disconnects Automatically

I am using a Win 2K3 server. Terminal services are installed running properly since
this server is a terminal server.
We use around 10 pc in our lan which uses Remote Desktop Connection to connect to
this server.
Things work fine all is well BUT the Network Adapter can get disconnected any time
of the day.
The usual remedy which we normally do is log on to the server with Administrative
rights Disable the Lan Card and Anable it again ....... it works fine again -----
until the next time it disconnect again ............ no specific time ........to
mention ......... sometimes 5 minutes sometimes it can be 1 hour or 2 hours.....
.. We do the same trick again it works fine again ......
My query is why the Lan Card get disconnected again and again...??? please help
