I have decided to go with a Dell Studio 16 xps with 4 Gb memory and a lot of other extras. I comes with Vista Home Premium SP1, 64 bit. I' certain it will take some getting used to. Dell also said that when W7 is issued, they may have a plan to upgrade at a reduced cost. We'll see if that happens. Written in response to: New laptop OS?
