i'm having similar issues steve. when i ran the beta, i had no problems really - just a few setup teething issues. i installed the rc earlier this week (clean install over formatted drive) and this one seems much less reliable to me. my biggest bug-bear is that rc doesn't play well with my netgear wn311b wireless 802.11n card. it cnnects happily for a while, then loses internet connection and has local only. the hardware hangs at that point and any attempt to disable/reset it crashes the os. funnily enough, the driver windows first used t run the card was a broadcom driver - which seemed ok - but after a few days, winupdate found the netgear driver and updated and since then regular drop-outs. i cannot roll-back the driver to the broadcom, and if i uninstall the hardware, remove all netgear drivers, then reinstall it cannot find a driver so i must have deleted the oreiginal broadcom drivers trying to get it to work. when i connect over ethernet - no problems
