Annoying USB Drive Message Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 7:31 am Windows 7 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Neil Katz (12 messages posted) Whenever my laptop (Win 7 RC) "wakes up" from sleep mode, I get an annoying Autoplay dialog box for my USB external hard drive. I tried unchecking Use Autoplay for all media and devices, and changing the Mixed Content action to"Take No Action", but thebox still comes up when waking up. Does anyone know a way to suppress these messages? I also get them when inserting a USB Flash Drive. There are presently no replies to this message.
